The most important part of technology is the people who make it work. The Contract Video Specialists, Inc. staff is a group of dedicated, professional people...many of whom have over a
decade of service with the company. We look forward to collaborating with you to help you achieve your project goals.
John Fleetwood, President
Beginning in high school, John repaired neighbor's TV sets in his parent's basement.
He's been involved in the field since before "television" became "video". John has always been interested in magnetic recording, and worked in that field in the federal government
for a number of years. He became involved in video in 1972 as the manager of an industrial studio. There, he worked on both sides of the camera (but much prefers
technical work these days). He is Navy trained in electronics, attended the RTVF program at the University of Maryland, where he later was the chief engineer of the
department, worked for several years at a local system integration firm, and then founded Contract Video Specialists, Inc. in 1985. He's been at it for over 30 years, but
who's counting? John is a member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, the Society of Cable Television Engineers, the Society of Broadcast Engineers, and a Certified AMX ACE Installer.
Jonathan Einarsen, Engineer
Jonathan also developed his interest in video in high school. He joined CVS in 1987 after completing his work at Capital College in the field of telecommunications
engineering. Over the years, Jonathan has pursued several areas of specialty within the company. He has staffed the repair shop as a bench technician, has serves as a team
member on large system installations, and presently designs broadcast, public access, and performance venue systems. In addition to his accomplishments at Contract Video
Specialists, Inc., Jonathan has also served as staff engineer for NBC News Source in Washington D.C.
Harvey Everett, Engineer
Harvey has been lending his unique talent to systems integration in Washington for the past 30 years. It would be hard to imagine a government agency or private corporation
where Harvey has NOT installed a video facility at some time in the past! His work can be seen at ball parks, football stadiums, aquariums, in remote trucks, training facilities,
government agencies, broadcast facilities...you name it and Harvey has built it. His craftsmanship is second to none. Harvey is a Certified AMX ACE Designer.
Jeff Schneider, Engineer
Jeff has served the Washington DC technical community with over 25 years of audio
engineering, video engineering, and technology systems design experience. He has a broad depth of knowledge in commercial audio and video design and integration. Jeff
enjoys volunteering his time teaching technical theater to local high school students.
Scott Clark, Technician
Scott first came to CVS in 1997 as an apprentice. He excelled at installation tasks, joined the staff full time, and now contributes his skills to most installation jobs. You
may also see Scott staffing the customer service counter, or assisting with transportation for your equipment repair needs. Scott is a musician, has produced
several CDs for his band, performs in a local theater group, and has worked on several independent films.
Alex Jenkins
Alex is a recent graduate from a local technical school. You’ll see him working with our other installers as he builds on his TV station experience.
John Cournoyer, Controller
John contributes a wealth of business experience, having managed financial and business operations for medical, service, and manufacturing companies for over 25
years. He is in charge of all financial matters at Contract Video. John is an avid golfer and enjoys reading a wide range of fiction and non-fiction.
Marie Wolford, Customer Service and Secretarial
Marie is an experienced customer service representative, having faced the public primarily in the automotive service industry. We’re glad she made the move to video! In
addition to Customer Service duties, she also assists the rest of the staff in keeping the maintenance shop side of CVS organized. Marie is a sports enthusiast and a pitcher for
a local softball team…but we promise she won’t throw you any curve balls.
