We know that good system documentation is crucial to the future operation of the facility. That's why all system designs are prepared using VidCAD. VidCAD permits us to produce complete 2D wiring diagrams, 3D room diagrams, and complete wire-specific cable lists.

 VidCAD^TM software

VidCAD is a unique software product that links AutoCADTM with a large database of pre-defined drawing aids specific to the video industry. The top of the line product incorporates both 3-D capabilities for modeling rooms and consoles with 2-D capabilities for drafting complex wiring diagrams.

An important guiding philosophy of Contract Video Specialists is that each video system we design must be fully documented on paper before the first cable is installed. We use VidCAD exclusively for all of our system design and drafting requirements. In fact, when Contract Video Specialists constructs a facility, VidCAD is on the job with the technicians. Any "build-to" changes required by unexpected job-site conditions are added to the system drawings as they occur during construction. The customer is assured of completely accurate "as-built" technical documentation delivered on time. You probably know some facility owner who never could get the finished wiring diagrams from the system integrator after completion of the installation.
